Thank you so much, dear friends and customers, for coming out to the market to show your support despite the chill and gray skies. Seeing your wonderful appreciative faces makes the market such an amazingly rewarding experience for me as a vendor!
Next Saturday I am making my favorite 4 Onion-Potato Soup, the best comfort food for a rainy fall day. The soup is vegan, organic and made out of all local Ohio produce (as are most of the soups and stews I make).
As usual, it will be available for sampling at the Howe Meadow market. But if you are interested in getting a 1-quart container of it please preorder by email: preordering is the only way to guarantee that a quantity is reserved for you. If you can not come to the market early, please let me know in advance and I will hold it for you. Otherwise, at about 11:30 all preorders that have not been picked up are released and bartered, usually to the farmers who provided the produce.
Breads this Saturday:
Russian Coriander-Rye
Sun-Dried Tomato-Basil
Calamata Olive-Cracked Black Pepper and
Caramelized Shallot
See you at the market!
