To our last market of the season at Howe Meadow this Saturday I will be bringing my exquisitely spiced Moroccan Chickpea-Vegetable Soup. Like most of the food I cook, this soup is vegan and organic and is made out of mostly local Ohio produce (for obvious reasons I can’t get local olive oil and, at least as yet, chickpeas).
As usual, the soup will be available for sampling at the market but if you would like to preorder please e-mail me no later than 4 p.m. this Thursday, Oct. 29. Please let me know in advance if you need me to hold your soup until later part of the market if you can not come to the market early.

I would like to remind you that although our weekly market season is almost over, throughout the winter, every 3rd Saturday of the month (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) the CVCC farmers’ market will be held at Happy Days Lodge on Rt. 303.
