I stopped by the new up scale convenience store in Nevada City today. The one on the corner of Pine St. and Spring St. Caroline was pleasant and saw your bread, and of course we had to try some. The Multigrain was great! Glad you moved here (Akron's loss). We are BriarPatch members, so we will be looking for your bread there on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We will also stop by Caroline's to see if she has it there.

Good bread is hard to find, and we're happy to have found you, Christy Barden, Nevada City, CA

Dear Sheila,

I am so sorry I didn't reply to your message earlier -- it got stuck in my over-sensitive spam filter, and I simply didn't see it until today. I am very grateful for your kind words and am also very happy you enjoy my bread. This was the point of my moving back to the county -- to make sure that my Californian friends get to enjoy my bread after salivating over it for two years when I was keeping my Ohio friends happy. :)

By the way, the Shaker Square farmers market is considered to be almost as good as the Countryside Conservancy market in Peninsula where I used to work. :)

Oh, and NO, I'm NOT satan. I just absolutely love what I do, and I love that it gives pleasure to others. So forget your low-carb diet and enjoy some good bread with some wonderful wine. What can be more true? ;)

Cheers,
Nika

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm very happy you enjoy my breads. I deliver them to Briar Patch every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning. I usually try to get them in by about 11:30. In fact, just dropped them off there, they should still be warm.

Welcome to Nevada County. I love your breads. The first loaf we had was your Italian Peasant Bread with the semolina flour. It was fantastic! Please make more. We next had the Russian Rye, also great. What days and times do you deliver to the Briar patch? I look forward to trying many more of your breads.

I'm looking for a local source of fresh bread for a winery opening up in Rootstown and would love to talk with you about what you have. Your bread looks amazing and I'm really interested personally in lacto-fermentation.
Let me know if we could meet up some time. 3303090482

Ludmila,

I am sorry but I do not publish the recipes for my bread. All I can tell you is that it is a sour dough bread, although it is NOT very sour, the crumb is pretty salty, about 2.5% (in baker's percentages), and has walnuts and dried figs added to it. That's all.

Good luck.
